Patient & Family Feedback

Whether you are a patient or family member, we rely on your feedback about your experience with Monument Health. Patient feedback allows us to understand what we’re doing well — and where we have opportunity to improve. We share our survey scores and written comments with physicians and caregivers.  And we’re always looking for ways to improve your experience.

All acute care hospitals in the United States participate in a patient survey process regulated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey measures patients’ perspectives of their hospital care.

Eligible patients are surveyed after hospital discharge, and composite results for the hospital are displayed. In addition to the inpatient HCAPHS survey, Monument Health also surveys patients who have received care in our other outpatient and clinic settings.

Surveys are administered by Press Ganey Associates, Inc., Monument Health’s authorized survey vendor.
