What is the Clinical Excellence Award

This award allows us to spotlight the clinical excellence that is occurring daily within our medical group.
Award criteria
Recipients of the Clinical Excellence Award exemplify a commitment to the practice of medicine and to Monument Health’s values. Their knowledge, skill and professionalism in day-to-day interactions with patients, families and colleagues reflect their commitment to clinical excellence.
The recipient of this award must possess the following qualities.
- Must be an employed physician or provider.
- Must possess exceptional knowledge and skill within their specialty which enables them to provide excellent clinical care.
- Shows respect to patients, families and colleagues through compassion, empathy, courtesy and patience.
- Possesses a strong sense of pride and professional passion for serving patients and the community.
- Consistently provides exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
- Continues to provide direct patient care.
Nominations will be reviewed and a monthly award selection will be made by the Physician Operations Group. One award will be given out monthly.
