Don’t miss out on this incredible day of fun, excitement and inclusivity! The Monument Health Special Rodeo is back, and we’re rolling out the red carpet for children and adults with disabilities, along with their families and caregivers. Whether you’re here to watch or participate, there’s something for everyone!
Activities Galore!
From horseback rides on therapy horses provided by Suncatcher Therapeutic Riding Academy to high-energy stick horse barrel races, roping, bucking machines, and even miniature horse activities with Red Horse Healing, there’s no shortage of thrilling rodeo action. Plus, there will be adorable animals to pet and enjoy, art, special guests, games and so much more.
A Special Space for All
We’ve created a calm and sensory-friendly area for those who need a quieter environment to relax and recharge. Every detail has been designed with comfort and fun in mind—this is an event for all abilities!
Volunteer and Make a Difference!
We’re looking for amazing volunteers to accompany our participants throughout the event. No rodeo experience is necessary—just a friendly, supportive attitude! You’ll be paired with a participant and help them have the time of their life. Plus, there will be helpers at each activity to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Event Details
- Time: 1:00 p.m. – Registration Open
- 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Special Rodeo Activities
- Admission: FREE!
- What to Wear: Please wear tennis shoes or boots (no sandals or open-toed shoes, please!)
Who Can Attend?
This event is open to all individuals with disabilities. The arena dirt will be packed to make it easier for both walkers and wheelchairs.
