To make this plant based, use vegetable broth.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon or lime zest
- 1/2 cup unsalted chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
Directions
In a microwavable bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Whisk to mix evenly. Microwave on high until clear and thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
