Breast Lift
This procedure, called a Mastopexy, is designed to enhance the appearance of the breasts to regain a more youthful appearance. Over the years, breasts lose their elasticity and start to sag. Surgical breast lifts aim to lift the lower breast tissue back to your chest to provide cleavage and fullness.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast cancer is treated primarily by the removal of part or all of your breast tissue, a lumpectomy or mastectomy. Some patients then choose a breast reconstruction surgery to improve their aesthetic appearance. A new breast is formed using implants or tissue flaps gained from other parts of the body. When your breasts are out of proportion for your body and causing pain and discomfort, a breast reduction is ideal. Breast reduction surgery can be performed on men or women. Too much weight in the chest can cause back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain, in addition to emotional discomfort. In this technique, excess skin and breast tissue are removed, creating a more attractive appearance. Breast reduction surgery is often combined with a breast lift to reposition the breasts for a more youthful look.
