The High-Risk Breast Clinic at Monument Health in Rapid City was developed to help care for patients who are at an elevated risk of developing breast cancer. Patients may be men or women who have an elevated risk of breast cancer secondary to family history, genetic susceptibility and personal breast biopsy-based risk factors.
Our team is comprised of experts in breast health ranging from those who focus on breast imaging and biopsy, genetic testing, oncology risk-reduction and breast surgery including reconstruction. They work collaboratively with patients to develop individualized plans for breast screening and breast cancer risk reduction. These plans may also include additional screening options, medication risk reduction, genetic testing, and preventative surgeries.
