Hundreds of generous people serve as Monument Health volunteers every year. Volunteers play a vital role in providing a caring experience for our patients and families. In 2024, Monument Health celebrated 50 years of volunteers!

Before you begin the application process, please read through the volunteer requirements:
Adult Volunteers (at least 18 years old and out of high school)
- Successfully complete onboarding trainings and annual education
- Successfully complete health screenings and background screen
- Attend an orientation session and interview
- Complete 30 hours within 3 months after being cleared to start. (2-4 hour shifts)
It takes the average volunteer approximately 6 weeks from submitting an application, to begin their weekly volunteer shift.

Complete an online volunteer application
Teen Volunteers (must be 16-18 years of age prior to graduating high school)
- Successful completion of a Monument Health Job Shadow
- Commit to one 2-4 hour shift on the same day/time per week for 10-12 weeks, for a minimum of 30 volunteer hours
- Fall session- begins in October, Spring session- begins in February, Summer session- begins in June.
- Applications are due by the last business day of the month before the session starts in Sept, Jan, May.
- Attend an orientation session, interview and successfully complete onboarding training, annual education and health requirements
