RAPID CITY, S.D. (June 9, 2021) – The Children’s Miracle Network Mediathon will broadcast live from the Monument Health Rapid City Hospital lobby on Friday, June 11, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
HomeSlice Media Group Radio Stations 104.7 The Cowboy, 93.9 The Mix, KAT Country 98.7, Real Rock 100.3 The Fox, and Hot 93.1, along with NewsCenter1, will all present miracle stories featuring children from the area. Children and their parents will also be interviewed live on the stations and talk about how families in our region benefit from community support through donations to Children’s Miracle Network at Monument Health.
“Mediathon gives us a tremendous opportunity to come together and raise money for the children throughout our communities,” said Monument Health Children’s Miracle Network Program Manager Shawn Powers. “We truly appreciate the outpouring of support from people across the Black Hills and are thankful for their commitment to the comfort and care of our youngest patients.”
Money raised through events like the Mediathon help our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital purchase medical equipment and fund programs for children’s services. Every dollar stays local helping ill and injured children every day!
