Physician joins Monument Health Custer

CUSTER, S.D. (Oct. 5,2020) – Family Medicine Physician Louise Halbleib, D.O., recently joined Monument Health Custer Hospital and Clinic.

“The Custer team is excited to have Dr. Halbleib join us. We look forward to Dr. Halbleib sharing her wealth of knowledge and training along with a commitment to Community,” said Dr. Lisa Brown, M.D., Community Medical Director for Custer.

Dr. Halbleib graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Monument Health Rapid City Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, South Dakota Academy of Family Physicians, Black Hills District Medical Society and the South Dakota State Medical Association. She enjoys preventative medicine, women’s health, breastfeeding medicine, pediatrics, and musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Halbleib is proficient in Spanish and enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, walking her dogs, and spending time with her family.
