Jill Tice promoted at Monument Health

RAPID CITY, S.D. (Dec. 3, 2019) — Monument Health announced that Jill Tice has been promoted to Vice President of Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management for the Rapid City-based health care system.

“Jill’s progress during her nearly 21 years at Monument Health is a testament to her dedication to our organization and to the greater Black Hills community,” said Paulette Davidson, President and CEO of Monument Health. Tice started her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1999. Following that, she served the Orthopedics/Neuro/Surgical departments as a Health Unit Clerk, Registered Nurse and Clinical Resource Nurse. She was named Director of Quality, Safety and Risk Management in 2009.

Tice has a passion for quality, working closely with Monument Health’s Clinical Practice Council and leading the System Quality Committee.

She is a role model for lifelong learning. In addition to her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University, she has earned a master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Recently, Tice completed the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Chief Quality Officer Certification course.
