RAPID CITY, S.D. (Aug. 31, 2018) – Monument Health is sponsoring the First Annual First Responders Appreciation Event on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Rapid City’s Memorial Park.
This family event is open to public and includes food, activities, educational booths, a 3K walk/run and a “Day in the Life of a First Responder” obstacle course. Five-person teams can sign up for the obstacle course by visiting www.regionalhealth.org/obstacle.
All money raised during the event will go to the Midwest Honor Flight, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing veterans with honor and closure with an all-expense paid trip to our nation’s capital.
