Helping individuals discover opportunities that support their personal, educational and professional growth is something that I have always been passionate about. I enjoy helping people identify their strengths, explore career options and gain confidence as they work toward their goals. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Black Hills State University. I bring six years of experience in Talent Acquisition, where I developed a strong background in recruiting, workforce development, relationship building and connecting individuals with meaningful career opportunities.

As part of our team, I am committed to supporting students, caregivers and future caregivers by providing guidance, resources and connections that help them achieve their educational and career goals. By increasing awareness of health care career opportunities, I hope to encourage the next generation of professionals while helping build a strong workforce to meet the evolving needs of our communities.

I’m passionate about helping people discover their potential, build meaningful careers and thrive both professionally and personally. My leadership philosophy is simple: well-being comes first. People do their best work when they feel healthy, supported, connected and valued, and I strive to create environments where my team and coworkers feel this every single day and can take that feeling home with them as well.

I’ve built my career around workforce strategy, talent development, leadership growth and organizational transformation. Along the way, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for both the data that informs good decisions and the people whose stories bring that data to life.

I enjoy creating innovative workforce solutions, from leadership development programs and apprenticeship pathways to talent strategies that strengthen organizations and the communities they serve. My perspective has been shaped by education in Business, Human Resources and Performance Psychology, as well as two years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Heart and Vascular unit. These experiences give me the opportunity to support people from both the bedside and the boardroom, and they continue to influence how I lead today.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to bringing together people, purpose and performance to help others grow and succeed, and I am happiest when I can help someone achieve a goal they once thought was out of reach — or perhaps never imagined was possible in the first place.

My passion is helping people recognize their potential and providing the support, education and encouragement they need to succeed. I believe that meaningful learning experiences and strong mentorship help build confidence, foster growth and inspire excellence in health care.

I am a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner with Monument Health and hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on leadership. My professional background includes nursing practice, nursing education and professional development, with experience supporting students, caregivers and health care teams across a variety of learning and practice settings.

As a member of the NExT Team, my role is to provide education, mentorship and professional development opportunities that support students, caregivers and future caregivers in achieving their goals. I am proud to be part of a team dedicated to helping individuals explore career pathways, develop their skills and contribute to a strong health care workforce for our communities now and into the future.

What I love most about health care are the caregivers, students, leaders and community members who find purpose in serving others. Some of my most meaningful moments have come from helping someone see their potential, take a next step and discover a place where they can grow. I believe when we invest in people, we strengthen not only their careers, but also the teams and communities they touch.

In my role as Director of Talent Acquisition & Career Development and Advancement at Monument Health, I have the privilege of helping people connect their talents and aspirations with meaningful opportunities in health care. I lead work that supports acquiring talent, workforce growth, career development and advancement across our health system, with a focus on building pathways that help current and future caregivers learn, grow and build lasting careers. Rapid City has always been home for me, and serving this region through Monument Health has been one of the great honors of my life. I began my career here as a Registered Nurse in 1996, and over the past three decades I have been grateful to serve in clinical, operational, leadership, education and workforce development roles. Each chapter has deepened my appreciation for the people who choose health care and the impact they make every day.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University and my Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. I am a

Registered Nurse, Nurse Executive-Board Certified (NE-BC), Certified Health Care Recruiter (CHCR) and Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RCAR). Above all, I am passionate about helping people feel seen, supported and encouraged as they explore what is possible for their future in health care — because when people are empowered to grow, they create lasting impact for patients, teams and communities.

I am passionate about helping people build meaningful careers and creating pathways that support long-term workforce growth. I believe our team plays a vital role in helping current and future caregivers find where they belong, grow in their careers and ultimately be successful in health care. With a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Human Services, I have built my career

around supporting individuals in reaching their professional goals while strengthening workforce pipelines. My experience in workforce development, talent acquisition and career coaching has allowed me to guide individuals through career transitions, overcome barriers and connect them with opportunities. Whether supporting an individual’s career journey or developing workforce strategies that address organizational needs, I am committed to helping people discover their potential and achieve their goals.

My passion is helping students and future caregivers discover meaningful opportunities in health care and supporting them as they build rewarding careers. I believe that investing in people, providing encouragement and creating pathways to success helps strengthen our workforce and ultimately improves the care we provide to our communities.

I am a Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of health care experience. My career includes over 11 years in Obstetrics, 2.5 years in Heart and Vascular services, and leadership experience supporting caregivers and teams across the organization. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the dedication, compassion and resilience required to succeed in health care, as well as the importance of supporting the next generation of caregivers.

As a Nursing Workforce Liaison with Monument Health, I focus on connecting students and future caregivers with opportunities to explore, learn and grow within health care. I am certified in recruitment, which allows me to combine my clinical expertise with workforce development strategies to support recruitment, career exploration and professional growth.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping students navigate their journey into health care. Whether I am discussing scholarships, externships, educational pathways, career opportunities or application process, my goal is to be a trusted resource, advocate and mentor. I am proud to be a part of the NExT Team and its commitment to developing a strong workforce while helping individuals discover their potential and build meaningful careers that positively impact patients, families and communities.

A significant part of my work focuses on building the healthcare workforce of the future. I’ve had the opportunity to support and develop initiatives that connect students and emerging professionals with careers at Monument Health, including scholarship programs, educational partnerships, career exploration, apprenticeships, student engagement, and workforce development programs.

I’m a Talent Acquisition & Marketing Specialist at Monument Health, where I bring together my background in marketing, recruitment, and community engagement to help connect people with careers in healthcare. My work can be seen throughout the Monument Health candidate experience—from recruitment campaigns and social media to career events, digital advertising, career pages, employee referral initiatives, and community outreach. I enjoy finding creative ways to tell the Monument Health story and showcase what it means to love where you live and love where you work, while helping prospective employees see how they can build a meaningful career in the Black Hills.
