Monument Health Cancer Care Institute is hosting an in-person Look Good Feel Better Workshop! This group workshop provides hands-on makeup, skincare, wigs and head coverings techniques to help manage appearance related side effects of cancer treatment.
Women (age 18 or older) who are currently undergoing cancer treatment, about to undergo cancer treatment, or have recently completed cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, hormone therapy, or other forms of treatment) are welcome to attend.

National Healthcare Decisions Day (sometimes referred to as NHDD) is an annual initiative celebrated on April 16th to encourage and empower people to begin or continue conversations about their wishes for care through the end of life. NHDD is an initiative to educate people on the importance of advance care planning. It encourages individuals to express their wishes regarding healthcare and for providers and facilities to respect those wishes, whatever they may be.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Social Workers will be available by the Gifts with Hope shop at the Cancer Care Institute to answer questions and assist with completing advanced directives.
