Wound & Ostomy Care

Inflamed, painful wounds and ulcers that don’t heal require special medical attention. At Monument Health, we care for patients with all types of chronic and slow-healing wounds, including ulcers, burns, infections and pressure injuries (bedsores).

Our wound care specialists understand the complex nature of wound treatment and healing. We treat wounds, and we also treat the underlying diseases or illnesses that impede healing. We also offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which can help wounds heal faster.

Living with wounds can complicate your life and interfere with relationships, but you don’t have to do it alone. We provide healing and supportive services for patients in and out of the hospital, as well as people served by long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities and home-care agencies.

Our Wound Care Process

During your initial consultation, you will undergo a thorough examination to identify the type of wound and its possible cause. Based on this evaluation, we develop a customized treatment plan with therapies tailored to your needs. We work closely with you, your family and your physician to care for the wound and guide your recovery.
