Birth Control Management
Birth control methods include medications, procedures, devices and behaviors. Some methods require an exam by your primary care provider or gynecologist, and can include a prescription, an insertion, or possibly surgery. Birth control plans vary depending on each patient’s specific needs and wishes.
Monument Health providers recommend that women receive routine breast and pelvic exams. Consult your primary care provider to find out how often you should undergo a pelvic exam or a Pap smear. Depending on several different factors, such as general health or sexual history, some women may require more frequent exams.

Dr. Brewer has been my physician for several years. She is a competent professional who not only helps me to manage my health but goes above and beyond to genuinely engage in a personable and caring manner. She is simply the best, and I have and will continue to recommend her to others.
She was amazing! The nurses and everyone there was so sweet, informative, and helped me to get on the right birth control. I highly recommend going to Monument Health.
Dr. Krohn and her nurse were professional and showed compassion during my exam and biopsy. They provided information you could understand as well as spent extra time explaining to my family. Very appreciative of the care received.
