Prenatal Care
Prenatal care is provided by family medicine physicians in all of our locations as well as the OB/GYNs in Spearfish. Labor and delivery services are available in Rapid City and Spearfish.
Infertility Treatments
Couples can seek help anytime they are worried about their ability to conceive, but we recommend seeking help if:
- The couple has been trying to get pregnant for one year and the woman is under the age of 35.
- The woman is over the age of 35 and the couple has been trying to get pregnant for at least six months.
- The woman has a history of pelvic infection, endometriosis or irregular cycles.
Services include:
- Evaluation
- Ovulation induction
- Insemination using the male partner’s sperm or anonymous donor sperm
- Fertility preservation
High-Risk Pregnancies
Women with high-risk pregnancies are sometimes referred to Rapid City Hospital to consult with obstetricians and neonatologists. Babies delivered at Rapid City Hospital are immediately evaluated in the NICU. Critically ill newborns from other hospitals are frequently transferred to Rapid City Hospital by our Neonatal Transport Team.
