Primary Care

Primary Care

Whole care for your whole life

Your Primary Care Provider (PCP) is the physician you turn to first and the doctor you trust most. They treat basic illnesses and provide preventative care for you and your entire family. They will also get to know your complete medical history, help you understand medications and assist you in getting treatment for more complex or ongoing diseases and medical needs.

Monument Health Primary Care Physicians accept patients of all ages in our clinics across the Black Hills. If you would like to establish care with a PCP, start here to contact us for a consultation.

KNOW WHERE TO GO

Urgent Care

Visit Urgent Care in Rapid City or Box Elder when an illness or minor injury needs treatment soon but is not life-threatening.

Urgent Care treats patients of all ages, from pediatric to adult, with symptoms such as fever, respiratory illness, infections, allergic reactions, stomach illness, minor burns or wounds that may require stitches or imaging.

Walk-in availability allows patients to receive care quickly when waiting for a scheduled visit is not practical.

Same-Day Appointments

Schedule a same-day appointment in Belle Fourche, Custer, Lead-Deadwood, Spearfish or Sturgis when you or your family member need prompt care for common illnesses or minor health concerns that are not emergencies.

Same-Day Appointments provide fast access to care for infections, cold and flu symptoms, migraines, nausea, minor skin conditions and other routine medical concerns while supporting ongoing care with your provider.

Existing patients can schedule a Same-Day Appointment through MyChart.

OrthoExpress

OrthoExpress in Rapid City provides walk-in orthopedic care for bone, joint and muscle injuries that need prompt treatment but are not emergencies. Patients can receive evaluation and treatment for sports injuries, sprains, strains, joint swelling and minor fractures.

On-site X-rays and diagnostic services help patients receive timely treatment and return to activity as safely and quickly as possible.

STILL NOT SURE WHERE TO GO?

Registered nurses can assess symptoms, provide care guidance and help determine whether you should schedule a same-day appointment, visit urgent care, seek orthopedic walk-in care or go to the emergency room.
