Monument Health Spearfish Hospital listed in top 100 rural hospitals

Spearfish S.D. (Mar. 9, 2023) – Monument Health Spearfish Hospital was listed in the Chartis Center for Rural Health’s Top 100 Best-Performing Rural and Community Hospitals. This is the 13th year the Chartis Group has published this list. The annual recognition program honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX. The hospital was one of seven health care systems listed in South Dakota.

It is trusted by rural hospitals, health systems with rural affiliates, hospital associations and state offices of rural health across the country to measure and monitor performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
