RAPID CITY, S.D. (Oct. 1, 2024) – Monument Health announced that Alan Solano has been named Vice President of Governmental Affairs.
Alan will leave his current role as John T. Vucurevich Foundation CEO in December 2024. Alan previously served as a South Dakota State Senator from 2014-2019 and the CEO of Behavior Management Systems.
In his role as Vice President of Governmental Affairs, Alan will serve as an influential voice supporting the mission of Monument Health, building relationships with key legislators, administration policymakers and other community stakeholders.
“Alan brings decades of experience to this role. His background and knowledge of the mental health system, Medicaid program and Black Hills area social services will bring valuable insights to Monument Health,” said Paulette Davidson, Monument Health President and CEO. “We’re excited for Alan to join our team.”
Alan will take over his new role at Monument Health in January 2025.
