Banana pecan compote
Serves 6
Tip: Serve with pancakes and waffles or pair with your favorite low-fat yogurt.
- Add 4 ripe medium bananas.
- Add 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
- Saute 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup orange juice.
- Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Let reduce for 2 minutes.
- Add 2 tablespoons chopped pecans.
