Overview

Hepatitis A is a highly contagious liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus. The condition spreads from unclean food or water or from contact with someone who is infected.

Symptoms

Symptoms include fatigue, nausea, belly pain, loss of appetite and low-grade fever.

Treatments

The condition clears up on its own in one or two months. Rest helps.
