Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Provides direct age-specific patient care as assigned and contributes to the admission nursing assessment through data gathering and reporting to the registered nurse.
  • Assists to maintain a therapeutic milieu through monitoring patients activities and behaviors, reporting to the charge nurse and intervening when necessary using Crisis Prevention interventions to ensure safety of the unit.
  • Communicates actual or potential problems to the appropriate person in charge. Completes variances, incidents, work orders, and trackers.

  • Before the patient arrives in the room, prepares the procedure tray according to the Physician’s preference, following sterile technique, with no more than five complaints per year.
  • Consistently demonstrates a thorough knowledge of patient positioning, principles of radiation safety quality control, image post processing, and demonstrates the ability to plan own work.
  • Assists physicians in performing procedures. Provides learning environment.
  • Demonstrates proficient competence in using the bi-plane unit positioning the equipment and patient in such a way as to present a clear, undistorted view and consistently produces images of high diagnostic quality.
  • Documents appropriate information in patient's chart.
  • Ensures the procedure and related supplies are billed correctly.

  • Understands requirements of order shift which includes receiving, processing, storage requirements and entry on medications into the carousel. Follows legal, state and federal agencies, state licensing board, the Joint Commission (TJC), NCQA, and Risk Management guidelines and/or regulations to assure that the application is complete and ready for review by Board of Directors.

  • Responsible to ensure quality services in claim submission is given in accordance to applicable policies, procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary

Ensures the proper interpretation, processing, recording, approval and payment of client billing services. Accurately reviews information for processing charges and payments into a computerized system in accordance with the billing and collection guidelines. Responsible for the review and analysis of outstanding account balances for all Client services. Telephones/contacts debtors to accelerate payment of outstanding accounts. Conducts a variety of tasks related to accelerate payment of outstanding Client balances. Attempts to anticipate any and all problems relating to payment of client accounts and attempts to solve these problems.
