Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, Inc. seeks a full-time Rheumatology Physician based in Rapid City, SD. Diagnose, treat, and care for patients with various forms of common and rare rheumatic diseases, autoimmune diseases, and musculoskeletal disorders. This position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, or foreign equivalent from an accredited medical school and 2 years experience in rheumatology. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Ordering and performing specialized tests to diagnose patients and determine the proper courses of treatment for common and rare rheumatic diseases, autoimmune diseases, and musculoskeletal disorders. 2) Conducting physical examinations and analyzing a patient’s medical history and historical data to make informed decisions regarding treatment. 3) Conducting musculoskeletal ultrasounds, including both diagnostic and therapeutic. Must be Board certified in Internal Medicine. Must be Board certified or Board eligible in Rheumatology. Must have a current, unrestricted South Dakota physician license.
