Monument Health Lead-Deadwood Hospital and Clinic is seeking a BE/BC full time physician to join their practice, which provides comprehensive care for the entire family through all phases of life. Advanced Practice Providers staff the ED, our physicians provide back up call (1:4). Physicians provide inpatient coverage.
The population for Deadwood, Lead and surrounding areas is 27,215. Deadwood is located in the higher elevations of the Northern Black Hills, about 45 minutes from Rapid City and only 20 minutes to Spearfish. The town of Deadwood is a National Historic Landmark and is rich with history dating back to the discovery of gold in the Black Hills in 1876.
Lead is South Dakota’s Outdoor Recreation Capital – home to a major downhill ski area, southern gateway to Spearfish Canyon, direct access to the Mickelson Trail, 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, mountain climbing, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Lead is also home to the historic Homestake Gold Mine and the Black Hills Mining Museum.
