Monument Health Neuroscience Center in Rapid City is looking for a full time Neurosurgeon.
We are seeking a full-time BE/BC Neurosurgeon to join our group of 4 collegial and talented neurosurgeons.
General neurosurgery is required, but our fellowship trained surgeons are encouraged to develop their subspecialty interests and fellowship trained neurosurgeons are encouraged to apply. We currently have partners who are fellowship trained in functional neurosurgery and pediatrics. Call generally does not exceed 1:6. A trauma-heavy schedule with good work-life balance could be negotiated for a neurosurgeon with a particular interest in neurotrauma. Robust inpatient and outpatient APP assistance is provided, and there are excellent hospitalist, intensivist, and neurohospitalist services with 24-hour in-house coverage. Fellowship trained neuroradiologists are on staff, and our full-service cancer center provides medical oncology and radiation oncology support. 24/7/365 neurointerventional services are provided by the neurology department. All traumas are admitted to the trauma service by full-time in-house trauma/acute care surgeons. The neurosurgery facilities, including those at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital (a 417-bed regional tertiary care, Level 2 Trauma Center), equipment and staff are state of the art, with Globus robotics as our primary system at both our main hospital OR and at our Orthopedic and Specialty Hospital OR, which provides an ASC environment as well as inpatient capabilities. Renishaw and Brainlab systems are available for cranial navigation. ENT support for pituitary access is available.
