Monument Health Rapid City Hospital is seeking a full-time BE/BC Inpatient Gastroenterologist to join a growing practice with an emphasis on high-quality patient care, collegiality, and a satisfying work environment.
Monument Health Rapid City Hospital (a 417-bed regional tertiary care, Level 2 Trauma Center) has a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite with experienced staff.
Schedule is 182 days per year. Generally, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, but with some flexibility to adjust occasionally. Standard daytime shift, and nighttime home call that is light. On some shifts, general GI call and inpatient general GI responsibilities may be shared with a second inpatient general GI. Full daytime midlevel support is provided (two APPs onsite on weekdays and one on weekends). Full anesthesia support with monitored anesthesia care (MAC). Consulting and procedural service only – patients are admitted by hospitalist/ICU services. New state-of-the-art inpatient endoscopy unit with the equipment and trained staff needed to perform all advanced procedures. Fellowship-trained GI pathologist, 24/7 state-of-the-art IR capabilities, 24/7 in-house trauma/ACS general surgeons, and a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon. We have a full-time elective advanced GI physician for patients who need longitudinal care.
Highly competitive fixed based salary of $840K. Productivity bonus incentive opportunities start from day one. Starting and retention bonuses of up to $184K. Other benefits include relocation assistance, CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, and a full benefits package.
