Monument Health Neuroscience Center in Rapid City is looking for a full-time Neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
We are looking for a Movement Disorders specialist to join a well-established outpatient group practice with one Movement Disorders specialist and a need for 1-2 more. This is a fulfilling hospital-employed position in a collegial group environment, with an emphasis on work-life balance. Inpatient neurology needs are provided by a fully-staffed 24 hour Neurohospitalist service.
The Neuroscience Center is located at the main MH Rapid City campus, a busy tertiary care center that serves a 5-state region. It includes a 12-bed regional sleep center, 24/7/365 Neurohospitalists and Neurointerventionalist services, and comprehensive outpatient neurology services. Neurosurgical treatment for movement disorders will be available starting in fall of 2026 with the arrival of a neurosurgeon finishing fellowship training in functional neurosurgery. In addition, we have full-time neuropsychology services available. We are currently certified as a Primary Stroke Center with thrombectomy capability, and we are aiming at Comprehensive Stroke Center status and Level III epilepsy center status by 2027, with an EMU scheduled to begin operation later this year.
Base salary of $425K. Productivity bonus incentive opportunities start from day one. Starting and retention bonuses of $142K. Other benefits include relocation assistance, CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, and a full benefits package.
