Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, operating in the inpatient services area, you will provide evaluation and direct patient care to individuals of all ages with the goal of maximizing their function and independence, with appropriate documentation of that care. Carries out other operational duties for the Rehab Services department as indicated.

Education - Bachelors degree in Athletic Training
Certifications - Athletic Trainer (AT) - South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners; for Trainers in Nebraska Athletic Trainer (AT) - Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services; for Trainers in Wyoming Athletic Trainer (AT) – Wyoming Athletic Training Board; Or licensure in other state that services are provided in
Preferred:
Experience - 1+ years of Athletic Trainer Experience; 1+ years of Healthcare Experience; 5+ years of Sports Medicine Experience
Certification - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) - National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
Physical Requirements:
Very Heavy work - exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues. Requires the ability to work designated shift lengths (including 8 and 12 hours), which may include night shifts or occasional irregular hours.
