STATEMENT ON PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT C

Monument Health’s mission is to provide essential health care for the patients and communities we serve. Although proponents of Amendment C have stated their intent to make it harder to increase access to high quality health care in South Dakota, the increasing broad base of Amendment C opponents includes business owners, workers, mayors, urban and rural residents who recognize that the unintended consequences and unanswered questions surrounding Amendment C are wrong for South Dakota’s future.
