Job Summary

Responsible for coordination of or assistance with forms analysis and document design projects for Regional Health. The
individual must demonstrate knowledge of human factors, industry and regulatory standards, evidence-based practice, safety,
quality, and use of technology to optimize care delivery processes and effectively communicate patient care activity. The
individual must demonstrate technical knowledge of computers and computerized documentation and be able to integrate forms
and documents into electronic processes.

Job Description

Essential Functions: ●Coordinates the design of clinical and business documents and electronic forms used by Regional Health to support efficient business practice and regulatory compliance. ●Develops and maintains a cataloging system for all documents. ●Interacts with providers, clinical staff, and Information Systems staff to facilitate the effective use of assigned systems and to guide system growth. ●Works closely with Clinical Quality, providers, clinical staff, department leadership, and Information Systems to clarify needs, prioritize requests, and recommend document design and workflow processes. ●Evaluates requests for system improvements. Executes change and adaptation to electronic documentation and other technology to maximize best outcomes. ●Participates in improvement projects and on assigned teams/committees to provide content expertise related to use of the clinical documentation system and other technology to promote quality and patient safety, support clinician and staff workflow, and achieve care improvements. ●Provides regular updates regarding clinical informatics to appropriate personnel, teams, and/or committees. ●Problem solves application and workflow issues and works through barriers to achieve results by collaborating effectively with users and the Information Technology staff. ●Considers and incorporates efficiency and cost containment measures into clinical informatics projects and processes. ●All other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

Required: Education - Associates degree in Related Field Preferred: Experience - 1+ years of Computer/Information Technology Experience

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
