Job SummaryThe Patient/Family Education Support Associate will assist the Patient/Family Education Manager and identified collaborative departments to develop, maintain, and catalog education materials, programs and projects regarding patient/family education throughout the system of care. Under the direction of the Manager, the Support Associate will assist in accurate and consistent data management in various formats and technology platforms/programs to sustain a systematic approach to education material development and management.

Initiate, manage and administer patient/family education database/spreadsheet of currently used custom and vendor education.
Initiate and manage catalog of Outside of Adopted Vendors of Purchased/Free Patient Education (not custom, not Elsevier, not Mayo generated).
Manage patient education materials on branding tile (i.e. WEB CRD).
Assist caregiver/customers with patient/family education as directed by supervisor.
Assist in management of MH Patient/Family Education SharePoint site.
Manage and prioritize MH patient/family education requests as directed by supervisor.
Assist students/interns/externs with projects associated with MH Patient/Family.
Create agendas and take/manage minutes of patient/family education sponsored meetings.
Assist/direct patient caregivers with patient educational technology needs.
Know or learn basics of health literacy standards and plain language philosophy.
Have and maintain training and competence in relevant information technology, software and databases (Access, Excel, ADOBE, MS Office Suite, etc).
Revise custom patient educational materials as directed by supervisor.
All other duties as assigned.
Education - High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
Education - Associate's degree related field
Experience - 1+ Years Computer Skills - MS Office Applications Experience
