Job SummaryReporting to the Director of HIM and Coding and the Vice President of Revenue Cycle, leads the coding functions and regulatory compliance for practice management for several physician clinics. Orients and educates physicians and allied Healthcare professionals in the documentation requirements necessary for accurate and compliant practice management billing in Provider Based Billling: Method I, Method II, Rural Health, and OPPS.

Education - Associates degree in the related field or one of the certifications below
Certifications - Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA); or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC); or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA); or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
Experience - 5+ years of Coding Experience; 5+ years of Leadership Experience; 5+ years of Management Experience
Education - Bachelors degree in Related Field
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
