The NDPP gives people the knowledge and support to make necessary changes in eating and physical activity. The goal is for participants to lose 5 to 7 percent of their body weight and engage in 150 minutes of physical activity each week.
The program consists of 22 one-hour sessions over a one year period. Rapid City sessions will be Tuesday, Sept. 17, and Thursday, Sept. 19. Custer session will be Wednesday, Sept. 25.
