Postgraduate Year One (PGY1)

Monument Health Rapid City Hospital accepts three residents each year for a Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program, beginning in late June. Residents are full-time and benefit-eligible. Residents will conduct and present research as well as have an opportunity to receive a teaching certificate and a leadership certificate. Preceptors tailor the program to meet residents’ individual goals.The mission of the Monument Health

The mission of the Monument Health PGY1 Residency Program is to develop capable, confident, and independent pharmacists equipped with a foundation of knowledge and skills to meet the current and future challenges of pharmacy practice through impactful learning experiences led by experienced and inspirational preceptors in an atmosphere of educational growth, shared respect, and communication.

How to Apply

All resident positions are offered through the ASHP Resident Matching Program. Applications are accepted from November through January, and applicants are selected for onsite interviews in January and February.
