Cancer Care Institute Construction Updates

Phase 2 construction of the New Cancer Care Institute, which encompasses remodeling the current Cancer Care Institute space, will begin in July. Completion is scheduled for summer 2023. During phase 2 of construction, some appointments will need to take place in other locations within Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. Patients will either enter through the new Cancer Care Entrance or the Fifth Street Entrance, depending on the appointment type.
AFTER JULY 12TH THESE APPOINTMENTS CAN BE ACCESSED USING THE NEW CANCER CARE INSTITUTE ENTRANCE.
- Radiation Oncology Clinic
- Infusion
- Radiation Oncology Treatments
- Salon/Cancer Care Gift Shop
- Breast Navigator
- Lab (Available in both locations based on appointment type; if you are not sure ask your care team)
APPOINTMENTS LOCATED AT AN ALTERNATE LOCATION IN RAPID CITY HOSPITAL SHOULD USE THE FIFTH STREET ENTRANCE:
- Medical Oncology Clinic
- Gynecological Oncology Clinic

On June 20th the Cancer Care Institute Medical Oncology Clinic and Gynecological Oncology Clinic moved to a new space located just inside the 5th St. Entrance. Some appointments will need to take place in this new location.
For appointments at this location, enter through the Fifth Street Entrance.
