Art has a curative aspect for those who enjoy creating it and viewing it. Monument Health is inspired by the local art that hangs on the walls throughout the system and we are proud to encourage and support the creative endeavors of our health care community. There has been much past interest in devising a platform for Caregivers to display their artistic talents. We are very excited to provide this opportunity for Caregivers to showcase original works in their chosen medium, including paint, needlework, quilting, pottery and woodworking.
The Caregiver Art Show will take place on Nov. 13, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital in the North Lobby (Fairmont Blvd. entrance). Submitted art will be exhibited from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
There will be a pop-up art display for select pieces at Dahl Arts Center on November 22.
